Pakistan In Semi Final – India Back Home – T20 World Cup 2009

Posted on Jun 15, 2009 under Cricket, Sports | 12 Comments

Pakistan Vs IrelandTwenty 20 world cup 2009 has been quite amazing and entertaining so far for cricket fans all over the world. Pakistan defeated Ireland today by 39 runs  to qualify for semi final. One noticeable fact of Twenty20 world cup 2009 is that Pakistan who had been almost out from the International cricket from past 2 years or so,  has surprised every one by their performance by qualifying for the semi final. They have proved yet again being one of the best teams in the world.

Looking at individual performances of Pakistani cricketers Umar Gul has been very impressive so far, being the top wicket taker of the world cup for Pakistan. He has taken 12 wickets so far with a world record under his belft as well by becoming the first bowler to have five wickets for just 6 runs in Twenty20.

INDIAN-TEAMTalking about Indian cricket team, although they qulified for super eight by defeating relativity weaker rivals (Bangladesh and Ireland), but Indian team is out from the tournment and ready to go back home after losing both of their matches in super 8 so far. It has been very disoppointed performace by the India. Although they have been playing alot cricket form last 2 years with all that IPL and ICL they have failed to deliver when required.

Indian players had been too busy in modeling and coming in commercials that they had left no time for practice cricket, i guess.

What a tremendous performance of Pakistan team was in last two matches (Pak Vs New Zea land and Pak Vs Ireland), even that our beloved team was away for international cricket in about last 2 years. A big reward goes to Umar Gul how really bowled very well and we are expecting the same performance in matches, coming so far. Good Luck Pakistan for semi final.

Indian team, they just have finished with IPL but they have not been able to stand in front of other well established teams. I think, they can only stand with “Hassianas”, “Aik Khaldi Aik Haseena”. Indian cricket team players really perform well in this show. I really appreciate their efforts. So now they have got time to prepare for these shows..

Arslan kindly avoid abusing and this is not allowed. If Indian cricketers were dancing when we lost, that does not mean you abuse them.
We would not approve comments with any kind of abuse to anyone, so kindly avoid it.

Well good job Pakistani Team. They have shown what they are capable of. We have some of the best talent in the world. For all the teams which are going to face us in the semi final and final Beware caz Pakistani team has just started hunting. Best of luck to Pakistan Cricket Team.
For Indians: it was not just your luck. Indian team even after IPL looked like the worse team of the tournament. The way the played against West Indies and England. I mean come on after so much of TT cricket the cant play short deliveries. Indian Team concentrate on the game of cricket not the game of advertisement. Bring a team that can play cricket caz its the glorious game of cricket not those cheap Indian dancing shows

One thing you notice that when Pakistan was playing with Srilanka in the Super Eight game. When Pakistan lost the game against the Lankans the Indian players in the balcony Especially Yuvraj Singh was dancing. That was the turning point of the game. Allah hates Pride. & the next game was b/w India & England which Indians lost & kicked out of the tournament & at that time no Yuvraj no Dhoni no Gambhir & even no Rohit saved India to get kicked out of the tournament. I think that was the point the Second Khan thought enough is enough.
