The Long March in Pakistan is being given special coverage by media in Pakistan. However, it is reported that Geo News TV transmission has been blocked in some cities of the country, including some parts of Karachi, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Quetta, Multan, Rawlakot, Muzaffarabad, Deepalpur and Sargodha. In some cities the cable operators have been asked to move the Geo News channel at the end of the channel list. Following is Geo TV live streaming link. Geo News transmission can be seen live from this link. http://www.geo.tv/geoip/

Aaj TV also reported that aaj tv transmission has also been blocked or the channel has been moved to the end of the channels list by the cable operators.

Obviously this act by the authories is showing that they are going to do anything to stop the Long March to Islamabad.

Geo transmission was blocked only in 3-4 sectors of Islamabad in early evening. Both channel’s transmission is up and live now!! [i have confirmed the news from VERY authentic source]

I would request you to please rely only on Authentic news – i dont know why but many Media channels are trying to create panic for no reason. No one can stop the long march but we have to be peaceful and calm in each and every case. Please spread the word, but be careful; since we donot want to leave bad impression of our country over the web.

a better suggestion i would give you is to call your relative or friend in these area and confirm the news :)

Good to know your way of thinking.
The Geo channel even in my area is blocked, and i confirmed that before uploading the news. And about Aaj tv i listened their reporter reporting in the night news from Lahore that there channel has also been shifted to the end of the channels.
Lastly sure we dont want to leave bad impression on our beloved country over the web but at the same time we need to know our weakness to overcome those.
Every one know the Long March is not gonna stop by these steps what Government is talking. Government should realize this too.

my authentic source was wrong, Geo News has actually ben blocked and i heard Sherry Rehman also resigned for the same reason, since her family owns Geo.

I am not sure about Sherry Rehman’s family owns Geo or not. But one thing is sure that being Information minister its not easy to explain in front of people about how the Government is handling the Long March so far. May be this is the reason she thought she better resign. :)
