Impact Of Indian TV Channels Star Plus On Our Children

I want to highlight a very important issue in my post, and I know there are people who realize this but still many don’t realize it yet. The problem that we need to discuss here is The Impact of Indian TV channels, specially Star Plus on our children. There is a large percentage of women and children viewers in Pakistan watching Indian TV channels and dramas at home. These channels and dramas are proving a slow poison for our children. They are destroying their moral character, their faith and innocence. This is the time to realize, revise and remember the reasons that despite living together over thousand year why Muslims and Hindus didn’t merge as one nation. This is the time to remember that we are two separate Nations with different faith, culture, religion and festivals etc. This is the to tell all this to our children before it too late. We don’t have to wait for Government to take an action, we have to start it from our home. Prevent our children and women from watching these unrealistic Indian TV channels.

An American speaking Urdu and he can speak 14 other languages including Persian and Arabic. He is very good at Urdu and got a degree in Urdu literature from the university of Chicago
He visited Pakistan at the age of 19 for the first time and then fasted in Ramadan with the Muslims. Very impressed by the People of Pakistan and their hospitality.

Pakistan has a very rich and beautiful culture. Its Food, Music, Languages, poetry and loving people. This is the reason that Pakistani culture always leaves a magical impact on the people having an interaction with it. This is the reason why i was not surprised at all to hear US President Barack Obama’s remarks about Pakistani culture in recent interview with Dawn newspaper. Interview covered a wide range of issues, but i would be including a subset of it in my post.

While answering to the question

“Any plan to visit Pakistan in the near future?
He said ‘I would love to visit. As you know, I had Pakistani roommates in college who were very close friends of mine. I went to visit them when I was still in college; was in Karachi and went to Hyderabad. Their mothers taught me to cook’
‘What can you cook?’
‘Oh, keema … daal … You name it, I can cook it. And so I have a great affinity for Pakistani culture and the great Urdu poets.’
‘You read Urdu poetry?’
‘Absolutely. So my hope is that I’m going to have an opportunity at some point to visit Pakistan,’ said Mr Obama.

Alam Lohar – A Legend Folk Singer Of Pakistan

A very bright and shining name in the sky of folk music of Pakistan is the name of Alam Lohar. The legend folk singer of Pakistan was Born in District Gujrat. Alam Lohar was gifted with a melodious voice. He started signing in very early age and recorded his first album at the age of 13. He became very famous in his childhood. He was famous for his unique style of signing specially Waris Shah’s “Heer”. He used “The Chimta” as a musical instrument. Alam Lohar was the inventor of the classic folk song “Jugni”. Alam Lohar died in a road accident of 3rd of July 1979. His son “Arif Lohar” is also very famous singer. He also remixed his father’s invention “Jugni” which was also very successful in remix version.
